kevennoel One of the best power/prog metal album made in this country, it bring me back to the days were metal wasn't as polished. This album is a story to listen, a Quest to follow, a trip to enjoy.

THE FATHOMS OF EXORDIUM A dormant mass floats motionless on waters calm From wondrous task comes whispers to a silent song Embracing life a warm felt kiss awakens me A conquered strife the birth of thought’s implanted seed I question what I have become Am I alive or is this merely fantasy Can I survive or will fate be my destiny In solitude I sought to find a presence in myself Did I delude convictions I could have beheld My journeys led me to the utmost realm of every place Beyond the sun and moon past origins of time and space There in my quest I heard tell of the knowledge that I search They lay within the sea of birth The breaking dawn adorns the calm salvation I’ve achieved I reach to touch and learn as much as ever’s been conceived But as I bathe my thoughts dismayed I fear I’ve been deceived And now this raging sea’s no more a gentle lure The cold winds cast me back to shore Now at a loss I fear to tally time misspent But at this cost I’ve learned through my experience I did achieve my dreams fulfilled not shattered as I thought For I have seen the realisation of what I had sought

CHALLENGE OF THE WILL Ask not of destiny what ignorance may tend Only to grant the grace that providence might lend To stray from travelled road and wander t'wards the night The path grows ever dark yet yonder shines a light Behold the grandeur in the prospect of the claim The eager mind awakens with the goal set to attain To crest the highest peak and call forth to the world Laughing triumphant as the banners are unfurled But soon the clouds obscure the vision once conceived And robs the beauty of the rainbows long believed For one who dares to seek the challenge of the will The sorrow of the dream forever stilled In disillusionment the wishful eye sees not When fortunes fail to find the lesson that's been taught To grasp at fleeting hopes that passion might sustain Rekindles spirits as pursuance sparks the flame For one to rise and meet the challenge of the will The mystery of the dream to be fulfilled For those who rose and met the challenge of the will The passion of the dream shall ne'er be stilled

DELIRIUM’S REALITY Darkness rests its hands upon my weary mind Cradled in its blackened breast my burdens left behind But from this silent lull a thunderous crash awoke Now left to battle fears of which my thoughts had never spoke And as my heart clenched tighter than the angriest fist I fled to seek the solace of Convictions that a hope does still exist (Constricted by a doubt that will persist) From out my furthest grasp unleashed to serve their woe These vengeful phantoms taunt me with Visions of defences overthrown (Abscission of the sense I have known) As the chaos ceased a calmness stilled my soul Again to find the peace of mind that once had been my goal And a tattered dream remains my only cost Yet still I’ve heard the voiceless words that whisper through my thoughts

AN ACACIA IN SEPTEMBER Here sit I alone in my thoughts With empty emotion inside And as smoke’s drawn from cigarette to mouth I choke back a tear at your thought Once a friend spoke of life and the wonders it held To rejoice in the essence of all But these feelings abandon me now I long for that wisdom again Yet stands tall a tree in my view With branches that yearn for the sky As the wind softly rustles its leaves So too must we bend with breeze Soon the leaves fall as autumn draws near A chill rides the wind through my heart But the sun melts the ice in my heart For life will return in the spring (Dedicated in loving memory of Preston G. Ross)

THE IMMORTAL LEGACY l) From Infinity To Nihility Once the waters of tranquility I sailed Where harmony prevailed Racing forth to seek out destiny But now the winds of sorrow Fill my sails with lost tomorrows And chart a course I dare not follow For fear I shame my legacy Where have we gone astray (In despair we watch our virtues fall in vain) ll) The Garden In the moments prior to my waking consciousness I breathe to taste your sweet essence And fell the shining warmth of your caress As I stretch to rub the dust that settled in my eyes I stare into your endless skies With splendored grace you mesmerize me From ample harvest grants Offerings plucked from purest branch Enraptured as its nectars quench Contented in your midst Indebted to your precious gift I ne’er shall long for any more than this lll) Beneath The Ageless Eclipse So began the dawn of wisdom Uniting mind and spirit as one But lost became the quest for truth Abandoned in its blinded use Fainter grew integral sight And led us ever near our plight Unto our long descent towards the night Beyond horizon’s grey The shadows hold the storm at bay In broken fetters rising fast Chaos stalks a rampant path But lest we breach our ancient pledge To find henceforth our world is left Teetering upon a narrow edge Lower sank the will of man To reap the labours of his hand The sea and sky forlorn unchaste Once verdant lands now laid to waste Temptation burns the bridges crossed Through bestial plagues of morals lost With hearts grown cold of bitter scorn Hatred cites the cry of war Sound the trumpets blast Instilling fear of mortal wrath As thunderheads begin to burst The tempest yields a mighty curse Falling from the heavens high Fragments of a shattered sky Pouring our the stench of death The burning ashes stifle breath Beneath the skies of raining fire The fading glimpse of life expires As anguished pleas are let unheard The dying sing their silent dirge Blessed are the dead, freed at last Grace my wretched soul, with your task I beg to let my spirit pass lV) Celestial Vistas As awareness opens into view (Lost within the magnitude) Adrift in astral bliss Cascading shafts of brilliant stellar light (Sparkles endless in the night) Shine to guide me home To a distant garden paradise (Forming in the wake of man) Where life begins anew V) From NihilityTo Infinity Once the waters of hostility I sailed Cacophony prevailed Hiding from the scourge of destiny But now the winds of fortune Fill my sails with bright horizons And chart a course I can rely on To proudly leave my legacy Let our people live thankful and appreciative Conscious and intuitive Standing strong and positive Let our race be free full of pride and dignity Poised with truth and honesty Logic and philosophy And so with this we strive To keep the faith of man alive And sing a joyous praise on high Although we failed our first The lesson’s learned with our rebirth To pledge love to our new home mother earth
