lyrics
THE IMMORTAL LEGACY
l) From Infinity To Nihility
Once the waters of tranquility I sailed
Where harmony prevailed
Racing forth to seek out destiny
But now the winds of sorrow
Fill my sails with lost tomorrows
And chart a course I dare not follow
For fear I shame my legacy
Where have we gone astray
(In despair we watch our virtues fall in vain)
ll) The Garden
In the moments prior to my waking consciousness
I breathe to taste your sweet essence
And fell the shining warmth of your caress
As I stretch to rub the dust that settled in my eyes
I stare into your endless skies
With splendored grace you mesmerize me
From ample harvest grants
Offerings plucked from purest branch
Enraptured as its nectars quench
Contented in your midst
Indebted to your precious gift
I ne’er shall long for any more than this
lll) Beneath The Ageless Eclipse
So began the dawn of wisdom
Uniting mind and spirit as one
But lost became the quest for truth
Abandoned in its blinded use
Fainter grew integral sight
And led us ever near our plight
Unto our long descent towards the night
Beyond horizon’s grey
The shadows hold the storm at bay
In broken fetters rising fast
Chaos stalks a rampant path
But lest we breach our ancient pledge
To find henceforth our world is left
Teetering upon a narrow edge
Lower sank the will of man
To reap the labours of his hand
The sea and sky forlorn unchaste
Once verdant lands now laid to waste
Temptation burns the bridges crossed
Through bestial plagues of morals lost
With hearts grown cold of bitter scorn
Hatred cites the cry of war
Sound the trumpets blast
Instilling fear of mortal wrath
As thunderheads begin to burst
The tempest yields a mighty curse
Falling from the heavens high
Fragments of a shattered sky
Pouring our the stench of death
The burning ashes stifle breath
Beneath the skies of raining fire
The fading glimpse of life expires
As anguished pleas are let unheard
The dying sing their silent dirge
Blessed are the dead, freed at last
Grace my wretched soul, with your task
I beg to let my spirit pass
lV) Celestial Vistas
As awareness opens into view
(Lost within the magnitude)
Adrift in astral bliss
Cascading shafts of brilliant stellar light
(Sparkles endless in the night)
Shine to guide me home
To a distant garden paradise
(Forming in the wake of man)
Where life begins anew
V) From NihilityTo Infinity
Once the waters of hostility I sailed
Cacophony prevailed
Hiding from the scourge of destiny
But now the winds of fortune
Fill my sails with bright horizons
And chart a course I can rely on
To proudly leave my legacy
Let our people live thankful and appreciative
Conscious and intuitive
Standing strong and positive
Let our race be free full of pride and dignity
Poised with truth and honesty
Logic and philosophy
And so with this we strive
To keep the faith of man alive
And sing a joyous praise on high
Although we failed our first
The lesson’s learned with our rebirth
To pledge love to our new home mother earth
